Most of the executives I have spoken to say they would like to work more effectively. However, the majority are unsure how best to improve their performance. My style of executive coaching aims to identify and reinforce what works well already but, also, to uncover any underlying attitudes, limiting communication styles and unhelpful beliefs that prevent executives from fully achieving their potential.
Through our sessions, executives come to better understand their own attitudes and motivations. This in turn leads them to work with greater emotional intelligence and to better serve the values and culture of their business.
This is by no means a soft exercise. My first step is to help executives to identify what they want to achieve. Having set measurable goals, I then encourage them throughout their efforts to realise these goals by keeping them focused and on track and offering support when they encounter challenges and obstacles.
