My work with organisations increases overall performance and productivity through people development. This is best accomplished when the HR function of the organisation is also reviewed. I collaborate with - or subcontract - HR consultants to provide the most appropriate service to clients.
As a graduate of the Integral Organisational Leadership programme from the Integral Institute Business Centre in Colorado, I offer leading-edge approaches to leadership and organisational development.
I provide HR consultants with a rigorous framework for locating difficulties across an organisation and to derive systematic solutions to address these. My primary skill is in supporting individuals and organisations to understand how their own development and the development of their organisation are related.
I have a strong reputation for helping all those I work with to develop and maintain energy, self-awareness and a clearer sense of direction in their personal and professional accomplishments.
I am particularly successful at getting diverse groups with conflicting values and perspectives to work more effectively together.
My expertise in adult development and the psychological principles behind performance and well-being dovetail perfectly with those of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. I have a particular interest in introducing the Myers-Briggs, personality-type tool to employees in a practical and innovative format. All too often, this tool is abused or just taken as a theoretical exercise. However, when participants have fun and experience a highly practical application of the model, they are more likely to allow it to inform their work decisions and relationships.
I am happy to collaborate with HR specialists to tailor programmes for organisations. My previous experience as a department head for a commercial workplace drug and alcohol testing service and as a medico/legal advisor for occupational health enhances what I provide to these sectors.
